Wish my Apple Music songs would show
Replaced iTunes app with this for the kids. We move the iTunes app into a folder and drag it several screens left. Then we put the kid Friendly music here. Hopefully Apple allows us to disable iTunes Radio on IOS just like Mac. Blocking explicit music in iTunes is not safe enough. The Cesium App is simple and plays music well with no Radio or internet streaming.
Prefer over iOS Music app, hands down the best and clean user-friendly interface. Appreciate that it does not force you into Apple Music Store when all I want to listen to are my playlists. Thanks so much!!
This is one of my favorite apps. The latest update includes an excellent feature to sort your library reverse chronologically by date added. The developer (Mike) is also very responsive to user feedback.
Restores what iTunes used to be instead of the nightmare of fragmentation it has become. Clean, simple, straight forward and it has a night mode! Cant ask for anything more than this. Perfect. I can only beg that the developer continues to stay on top of this app and update it. Let the word spread because this if it catches on will become many a persons default app. Thank you!
Ive tried to use this app but it doesnt work very well. When I skip songs the skipped song just starts over and that continues to happen. Not going to use this app anymore.
Lags when skipping songs, it starts from the beginning. Scrobbling is buggy.
Im very glad I saw this app on reddit. This puts Apples music app to shame.
Cesium is by far the best music player for iOS. Ive tried so many over the years but Im glad to have finally found this app. Its beautiful and works great, but also gets out of your way and just lets you play your tunes. The simplicity and minimalism is a welcome breath of fresh air these days where so many apps seem to get so bloated by cramming all sort of extras and unnecessary bits. Cesium is clean and highly functional. I love it. Also, I emailed the developer with a small UI addition (displaying the track length in search results) and he replied quickly and the feature was added about a week later. Wow! Talk about fantastic customer support. I run a lot and this player has been by go to player and Ive thoroughly enjoyed using it. Highly recommended. Thanks so much for a great app and also for the awesome support.
Integrates pretty well and adds a lot of useful functionality to the Apple Music service even without direct store access.
Just top quality. Nice looking, very clean and easy to use. If youre tired of what Apples music player has become, this is what youre looking for.
I tried this app based on previous positive reviews and Im very happy with it. I use it on an iPad, and the fact that it has a landscape mode is a big plus. It is also great that either artist sorting or composer sorting can be selected for each genre, another big plus for classical music. I previously used Ecoute as my preferred iOS music app, and its ok but this one is better, especially for the reasons mentioned above. Well done!
This is what the music app in IOS should be. (Or actually, what it was before Apple screwed it up.) The only thing I noticed is that it periodically freezes for a moment or so. Maybe because of have 20,000+ songs, but still, they need to research and find out why it is freezing/pausing periodically.
Neat user interface, easy to navigate. No longer use iOS Music. Cesium is way better. Goes on my Home page.
Bravo. Bravo.
I never write reviews. This is my first. So, obviously I think this is a pretty darn nifty app. Well, it is. You should absolutely use it in all its nifty glory. That is all.
I use Cesium every day, and Ive developed a wonderful habit flow with it. For me, its the best. Simple as that.
Thanks for this update. Hope you could also bring iPad support in the future!
The apple music app is awful and would frustrate me. This app is such a savior! It works like a music app should work! I love it and cant recommend it enough!! It is worth it!
My go to music app. Much better than the stock app.
