New version is quite smooth and stable.

I think this is the best music app out there, but come on, like you wouldnt give your own app five stars?

Id like to see a crossfeed implementation if possible.

This music app is very nice! Some other music apps dont allow rewind/seek in the control centre, but this one does, which is awesome! Also, the app is very smooth and stable. I would definitely recommend this music player to any who are looking for one. Seriously. Its amazing.

The iOS 8.4 Music app is terrible. This is the only good alternative. In many ways, its better than the Music app was at its best.

Before this update Cesium was crashing constantly and inexplicably. This update seems to have fixed that. Thanks! As a suggestion, for the "now playing" tab, make the pause and skip buttons larger than their outlines. I find I often accidentally bring up the music player when I just want to press a button.

Hey great app! Much better than the default app. One huge suggestion which would be absolutely amazing is to add iPad support! Doesnt look that great being stretched out, but there arent any other good apps like yours for the iPad. Cheers! Saw your post on Reddit.

Great interface. Functional and attractive. Good gesture controls. Slow at changing songs. The lag between songs is annoying if you are changing songs quickly in shuffle. Also the app has failed to quit numerous times even when I removed it from the task manager it kept playing...

Great app with a slew of features but my one complaint is when closing the app the song stays paused on the default player rather than closing as it should. Since the new update this app no longer seems to have an iPad version what happened?

The music player on my iPhone used to be simple and intuitive. Then, it was updated to support Apple Music and it went from usable to impossible! For instance, I was unable to play a new album I added as the music player insisted that I need to stream the music via Apple Music even when the music was right there on my phone! How stupid is that?!! Cesium is much like the old music player and it works. The interface is slightly laggy so music starts to play a second or so after you press “play”. I’m willing to deal with that since the rest of it seems to work fine. Can’t believe I need to pay extra to get a usable music player again but I’m grateful to have the option to have alternatives.

This is exactly what I wanted: an app thats a lot like the iOS 6 music player, before Apple made things much worse in iOS 7 (and then worse again in iOS 8). It even cleans up a few details and adds a long-awaited "album shuffle" feature that Apple never did. Worth every penny!

Only just downloaded this, but unless theres something obvious Im missing or it ends up crashing after a couple of days, it appears I finally have a nice, simple ap that actually... oh, I dont know... plays music again rather than tells me what it thinks I want to hear while using up my bandwidth. Hey, look, theres a play button. And a shuffle button. And a playlist button. Right there! It kind of looks like itunes used to before Apple decided that they wanted to be everything to everybody. Thanks Cesium!!!

Everything the music app used to be and more. Ever since the Apple Music update, I needed a good music app replacement. You can get the exact same functionality that the old app used to have, and it allows for more customization than before

Unbloated, simple, minimalist, awesome. Just buy it. :)

Decided to try this app after getting frustrated with Apples latest update of their music app, which is awful. Love Cesium! Great customization ability, just like Apple Music app used to be. One feature request please, being able to sort songs by date added would be excellent.

Update Mar192016: this app continues to deliver smooth performance and a user-friendly interface. Updates focus on performance and stability, not bells & whistles. I havent used Apples iOS player once since getting Cesium. I enthusiastically recommend this to friends. Suggestions: song position and time remaining readouts (minutes:seconds) to the left and right of the position "wheel", which would also benefit from more contrasting shades of gray. --- Finally, I can play music on my portables again without Apples terrible user interface since iOS 8.4! My complaints are minor, but constructive (this apps moving in the right direction already anyway). Startup is a bit sluggish, audio scrubbing needs a larger, more visible control , as well as wider variable rate (so I can zero in on finer points along the track, but that may be an Apple issue, since they introduced this problem with their current streaming paywall design). This app quickly replaced Apples music player app in my iOS dock. Im expecting more improvements, but Im already happy with my purchase. Thanks for putting the effort into this project!

I absolutely hated the IOS 9 iTunes app. Thanks for getting rid of all the extraneous marketing features and giving me a clean and high-functioning music app. A pleasure!!
